I have been purposely ignoring it and after I saved a project in Photoshop Microsoft decided to restart my computer and install Win10 anyway.

Since then I had still been using photoshop Cs3 regularly. Then on March 31, Windows did an update and it completely screwed up my photoshop. I guess what you could describe the problem as is that photoshop “hangs.

Nothing opens. I go to force close the program and it doesn’t even say “Program not responding. Why in the world do I need to pay and upgrade something that was working perfectly fine to begin with before you guys screwed it up? I don’t have all kinds of money lying around to upgrade or buy a new program. CS3 worked just fine for me. While yes, there are workarounds to go back to Win8 what’s to say I don’t eventually get forced back into Win10 again? Right now I’m just bumming off an account from a friend for the time being until I can get my own copy.

If I try to open a project it just stays trying to retrieve it indefinitely. I’m forced to Force Close it. When I go into the task manager it doesn’t even show that the program isn’t responding but it is the only way for me to get out of the program. It was working perfectly fine before Microsoft forced another update on me apparently disabling the program.

I checked the compatibility for photoshop and it told me that I needed to upgrade photoshop. Apparently there is NO upgrade for the version that I have. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop and I’m getting the same results.
